MPS Pull Station
The MPS series is Mircom’s newest pull station that meets rigorous UL requirements. The removable bezel allows for the product to be customized and meet specific geographical fire codes. To trigger, there are 2 discrete steps, first a push and second a pull. This prevents inadvertent activations.
Conceptual Direction
In a category of utilitarian products, our aim was to create a finished product that could provide Mircom with a highly styled, unique offering. The removable bezel concept quickly became an area of focus and provided significant differentiation from competitors.
Mechanical Design
We developed the Mircom pull station through early stage manufacturing-ready files and handed off to the highly capable in-house engineering team. The team continued to develop the design to exacting UL standards and final detailing for mass manufacturing. A highly successful collaboration that helped Mircom gain critical success in a category that was ripe for disruption.
Bronze Award Winner!
The MPS-800 Fire Alarm Pull Stations were awarded the Bronze Award in the Safety and Security Category in the Consulting-Specifying Engineer Product of the Year program. This recognition highlights Mircom’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the fire safety industry.
